Engineering & Quality

Cable assembly manufacturing, inspection and engineering coordination for industrial OEM projects. Define the configuration, verification scope and delivery requirements before production.

Engineering connected to production

Qicable is the industrial connectivity brand of Ningbo Farsince Electronic Co., Ltd. Farsince coordinates engineering, sourcing and manufacturing around the requirements of each project.

Bring a complete design for OEM production, or work through connector selection, pinout, materials and installation constraints with the team. Drawings and sample review provide a common reference for the next stage.

Cable assembly manufacturing process

The process route follows the agreed assembly. Sample and pilot reviews help define the transition to production; the operations below depend on the connector and cable construction.

  1. Requirements & sample review

Confirm interfaces, pinout, dimensions, installation conditions and the drawing revision. Agree what the sample must demonstrate.

  2. Material preparation

Review cable and connector specifications. Define incoming checks and the required cut length before assembly.

  3. Termination & assembly

Select the connection method for the design and check conductor assignment, connector orientation and shielding arrangement.

  4. Molding & identification

Include overmolding, strain relief and marking where the design requires them. Confirm the corresponding dimensions and label content.

  5. Inspection & verification

Agree visual, dimensional and electrical checks, plus any application tests, with the method and acceptance criteria.

  6. Packing & shipment review

Confirm quantity, batch identification, connector protection, labels and the documents required with the shipment.

Inspection and testing by application

Use this scope to discuss a product-specific inspection plan. Select the relevant checks with engineering and quality before placing the order.

Inspection and testing by application
AreaChecks to discussApplication & conditions
Visual & dimensionalAssembly appearance, overall length, connector orientation and mounting dimensions.Compare with the agreed drawing, tolerances and installation interface.
ElectricalPinout, continuity and resistance; insulation resistance or dielectric testing when specified.Define the circuit, test limits and method for the particular assembly.
Signal performanceSignal integrity and interface performance for the required link.Identify protocol, cable length and equipment configuration; agree a suitable validation setup.
MechanicalRetention, pull force, mating durability, vibration or shock as required.Select loads, cycles and mounting conditions for the intended use.
EnvironmentalTemperature, humidity, corrosion or weather exposure as required.Confirm materials, exposure conditions, duration and applicable test method.

Test selection, sampling, limits, execution location and report availability are confirmed for each project. A process photograph does not establish a product test result or certification.

Certificates & compliance documents

Documents supplied for reference. The named holder, covered products and validity are defined by each original document; some relate to manufacturing partners. Request a readable current copy for your model and project.

A shared reference for drawings and changes

Farsince’s engineering workflow includes specification and revision control. Make the following references explicit when requesting a sample, quotation or repeat order.

Drawing & revision
Part reference, drawing number, revision and the dimensions that control fit.
Electrical & material definition
Pin assignment, shielding, cable construction and agreed component specifications.
Validation & release requirements
Sample feedback, agreed inspection criteria and the documents needed to proceed.

Batch identification, packaging and delivery

Discuss the identification and records your receiving and quality teams need. Link packaging requirements to the order before shipment.

Batch references

Agree the model, revision and batch references to appear on labels and accompanying records.

Packaging & labels

Specify bulk, neutral or branded packaging, barcode content, connector protection and carton quantities.

Shipment documents

Confirm the packing list, inspection documentation and destination requirements as part of the order.

For a delivery or quality issue, share the order and batch references, label photographs, issue description and application conditions so the team can investigate.

Plan your cable supply

Move from an agreed configuration to a delivery plan for your equipment project.

  1. Confirm the schedule

Share the model or drawing, quantity and required arrival date. Confirm sample and production timing after reviewing the specification and material availability.

  2. Keep repeat orders consistent

Agree the drawing revision, connector pair, pinout and inspection requirements before production. Reference the approved configuration when placing repeat orders.

  3. Prepare the shipment

Specify labels, packaging, destination and any staged delivery needs. Confirm the shipment arrangement and documents with the quotation.

Request documents for your project

Tell us which model, drawing revision and intended use you are assessing. The team can confirm the relevant documents and their availability for your project.

Document availability and disclosure are confirmed individually. Compliance depends on the product, configuration and supporting documentation.

  • Assembly drawing and pinout
  • Inspection scope and available reports
  • Material or compliance documents within the applicable scope
  • Label, packaging and batch identification requirements

Bring the requirements to the engineering review

Include your drawing reference, connectors, length, quantity, operating environment and required checks. Add packaging or receiving requirements with the same inquiry.
